Ramakrishna (1836–1886)
Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was a Hindu religious teacher and an influential figure in the Bengal Renaissance of the Nineteenth century. His teachings emphasised God-realisation as the highest goal of life, love and devotion for God, the oneness of existence, and the harmony of religions.
From Wikipedia
Ramakrishna was initiated into God-realisation by the wandering monk Totapuri, who stuck a shard of glass between Ramakrishna's eyes and told him to concentrate his mind on that point. In this moment Ramadrishna saw God.
Later on, Vivekananda became one of his disciples.
